Bread along with cereals has always been the basis of food. However, today we eat much less bread than we should, for fear of getting fat. A healthy and physically active person could consume 300 to 400 g. of bread a day well distributed in all meals. Many things are said about bread, some are true but others false.

Bread gets fat - FALSE
The bread does not contain fat, with a moderate contribution of calories. What really makes your fat is the accompaniment with oil, butter, jams, in stews for dipping bread etc.
